Bee Crafty - Terms and Conditions of use of downloads

As with any artist I retain the copyright for each of my images. Please read on for details of the permissions I give for the use of my download designs. If you buy any of my images you agree to all of the terms and conditions. Thank you.

Do's & Don'ts for using digital downloads (limited licence permissions)

Once you have purchased and received your download designs from Bee Crafty…

·         Do enjoy using them on your craft project as many times as you like - E.g., cards, ATCs, scrap-booking, give to friends and family, show off on a blog, enter competitions…

·         Do credit me where possible and practical - E.g., include my details when using a photo including my image on a website or blog

·         Do resize and colour as you wish

·         Do let me see how you've used the design if you like, I'm always interested

·         Do sell your handmade items using my designs as part of a finished item (E.g., greetings card) on a small scale - under 100 per year.

 

·         Don't resell the designs themselves or as part of a kit - E.g., as digital files, printed sheets or cut outs.

·         Don't lend designs - E.g., via download, CD, file sharing, email…

·         Don't use the designs as part of any graphics that will appear on websites without specific permission - E.g., blog banners, logos

·         Don't pass the design (or an altered version of the design) off as your own - E.g., and try to sell it to a greeting card manufacturer, publisher…

·         Don't sell craft products using my design on a large scale - over 100 per year - contact me to obtain a licence to do this (see below)

 

·         Do contact me if you are unsure, I would always prefer to consider situations individually and am quite open to suggestions for creative and positive uses of my designs

Licensing requests

As an alternative to purchasing the download you can request a licence from me. I would recommend this for items other than handmade card items e.g., T-shirts, Posters, Patterns. Typically we would agree on a 'royalty' percentage of the retail price (usually 4% - 10%) which you would pay me quarterly based on your sales to run for an agreed period of time.

Custom designs

I am happy to create a custom design for you and usually recommend a license agreement to allow you to start using the image quickly and affordably. Alternatively a one off fee may be more appropriate which we can discuss.

Refunds

Unfortunately due to the digital nature of the items I can offer no refunds once the item has been sent.
